28 Years Later is a 2025 zombie horror movie about a survivor who leaves quarantine, discovering evolved infected, brutal survivors, and devastating secrets that threaten the fragile safety of his island community.
Synopsis: Three decades after the rage virus escaped a secret lab, the world remains a desolate nightmare. A quarantined island, connected to the mainland by a crumbling, heavily-armed causeway, shelters a small group of survivors. They’ve learned to endure amidst the infected horrors, but survival is fragile. When one of their own ventures onto the mainland for supplies, he discovers a terrifying, transformed world. The infected have evolved into even deadlier predators, while the surviving humans, driven by desperation, have become equally monstrous. Beneath the ruins, he unearths startling secrets: whispers of a cure, enclaves thriving amidst chaos, and experiments that challenge the limits of humanity. As the horrors mount, he must decide whether to bring these truths back to the island, knowing they could either save his people – or destroy them.
