MAR.IA is a 2023 AI horror movie about an adult film star who, after a catastrophic accident and a sinister transformation, returns to exact revenge on those who exploited and abused her.
Synopsis: Maria Black, the biggest porn star of 2024, is left in a coma after a devastating car crash. Her prognosis is bleak, but her sudden disappearance from the hospital sparks media frenzy. Yet, the world soon forgets – until 2027, when Maria mysteriously returns, eager to reclaim her place in the adult film industry. Director Dario George sees an opportunity, casting her in his latest production. However, when she dies tragically during filming, George concocts a disturbing plan to hide the truth. Little does he know, Maria is no longer the woman she once was – she’s part of “The Metropolis Project,” and now she’s back with a deadly thirst for revenge. As Maria’s rebirth unravels, the line between flesh and machine blurs, and no one is safe from her wrath.
