Orang Ikan is a 2024 monster horror movie set in the Pacific in 1942, where a Japanese soldier and a British POW must unite to survive on a deserted island, hunted by a terrifying creature.
Synopsis: In May 1942, amidst the turmoil of WWII, a Japanese Hell Ship carries prisoners of war to forced labor camps. Among them is Saito, a condemned traitor shackled to Bronson, a British soldier consumed by hatred for Saito’s nationality. Their mutual animosity is shattered when Allied torpedoes strike, plunging the ship into chaos and casting them into the violent sea. Stranded on a desolate island, they face a new nightmare: the Orang Ikan, a relentless, monstrous predator. Forced into an uneasy alliance, Saito and Bronson must set aside their enmity to survive this relentless foe. In their desperate fight for survival, they grapple not only with the beast but also with their own quest for redemption amidst the horrors of war.
