The Killgrin is a 2024 supernatural horror movie about a grieving woman who turns to self-help, only to awaken a parasitic entity that feeds on her pain and leaves death in its wake.
Synopsis: After a devastating loss, Miranda seeks solace in unconventional self-help methods. When a mysterious spiritual healer diagnoses her with a parasitic aura infection called a “Killgrin” – a malevolent force that feeds on her anguish – she dismisses it as nonsense. Desperate for healing, she turns to the safer path of group therapy, hoping for normalcy. However, as her pain lingers, so does something far darker. One by one, those closest to her meet gruesome ends, their suffering mirroring her own torment. As the body count rises, Miranda is forced to confront a horrifying possibility: the Killgrin is real, and the more she hurts, the stronger it becomes. Now, trapped in a vicious cycle of grief and death, she must find a way to break free – before it consumes her completely.
