Scream is a 2022 slasher horror movie set 25 years after Woodsboro’s brutal murders. A new Ghostface killer emerges, targeting teenagers to unearth the town’s dark secrets and reignite its deadly legacy.
Synopsis: When a teenage girl named Tara is home alone, the phone rings. A chilling voice demands she play a deadly game, threatening her best friend’s life if she refuses. Forced to comply, Tara narrowly escapes a brutal attack by the masked Ghostface. Her older sister, Sam – who left home at 18 due to her troubled past – rushes to Tara’s side at the hospital, joined by Sam’s boyfriend and Tara’s friends. But the horror escalates: a stranger who provokes them at a bar is later murdered by Ghostface in a nearby parking lot. Soon after, Sam receives a taunting call from the killer, narrowly surviving his attack. Desperate, she confides dark family secrets to Tara and turns to former survivor Dewey for help, drawing in veterans Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers. As bodies pile up, one question haunts them: who is Ghostface, and who’s next?
