The Well is a 2023 supernatural horror movie about a young restorer who travels to a small village to restore a medieval painting. She soon faces life-threatening danger from a deadly curse tied to the artwork.
Synopsis: On behalf of her ailing father, a gifted American art restorer journeys to a forgotten Italian village, tasked with restoring a mysterious medieval painting long shrouded in shadows. Upon arrival, she encounters a once-majestic, now-crumbling estate, home to a regal yet withering duchess and her enigmatic, tormented daughter. The daughter’s ominous warning pierces through the tranquil village air: the painting is cursed, a gateway to an ancient evil. A bloodthirsty witch lurks, preying on unsuspecting tourists, draining their lives to preserve her own immortality. Time is running out, and as the restorer digs deeper, she finds herself entangled in a centuries-old nightmare, where art, blood, and dark magic converge.
