Synopsis: In small-town Australia, an unrelenting nightmare is unfolding. Sophie, a young filmmaker consumed by the search for a supposedly lost film, finds herself in a situation far darker than her obsession. When an earthquake shakes the region, it unleashes ancient parasites that feed on hatred, sparking uncontrollable outbursts of violence among the townspeople. As chaos spreads, Sophie and her friends, already weighed down by their struggles with relationships and dead-end jobs, must confront a force far beyond their understanding. This ancient evil, rapidly infecting the community, leaves them fighting not only for their survival but for their very souls.
