I’ll Play Mother is a 2024 psychological horror movie about two children placed with adoptive parents after their mother’s death. Soon, the new family begins to suspect that something far more sinister is at play.
Synopsis: After the tragic and untimely death of their beloved birth mother, two vulnerable young children find themselves thrust into a new and unfamiliar world, placed in the care of seemingly perfect prospective adoptive parents. Initially, it seems like the beginning of a hopeful new chapter, filled with the promise of stability and love. However, as the days turn into weeks, a chilling unease begins to settle over the household. Subtle, inexplicable occurrences start to unfold, casting long shadows of doubt and fear. The once hopeful new family begins to unravel, gripped by the terrifying suspicion that something far more sinister and malevolent is lurking beneath the surface, threatening to shatter their fragile new existence.
