Booger is a 2023 body horror movie where, after her best friend Izzy’s death, Anna becomes obsessed with Booger, the stray cat they adopted. A bite from Booger triggers a disturbing transformation in Anna.
Synopsis: New Yorker Anna is reeling from the sudden, unexpected death of her best friend and roommate, Izzy. Struggling to cope with her immense loss, she faces another blow when Izzy’s beloved cat, Booger, runs away. In a frantic and determined search to find him, Anna is bitten on the hand by the elusive feline. As days go by, strange changes begin to occur: Anna starts to take on bizarre feline characteristics. Her transformation wreaks havoc on her life, sending her career into a tailspin and putting her relationship with her boyfriend on the brink of collapse. Amidst the chaos, Anna must navigate her new reality and uncover the mysterious connection between Izzy’s death, Booger’s disappearance, and her own metamorphosis.
