Scared Shitless is a 2024 creature feature horror movie about a plumber and his germophobic son who must stop a bloodthirsty, genetically engineered creature loose in the plumbing system of a terrified apartment building.
Synopsis: Don and Sonny, a father and son still mourning the loss of Sonny’s mother, are ensnared in grief. Sonny’s sorrow has turned into crippling germophobia, an attempt to control a world that feels terrifyingly unpredictable. Don, a seasoned plumber, knows life can’t be sanitized, so he insists Sonny join him on a plumbing job – an unconventional exposure therapy. Their destination: Palmer Estates Apartments, home to Professor Robert, a government scientist with a dark secret. After an explosion destroys Robert’s lab, he smuggles his top-secret, and very much alive, experiment into the building. Expecting a routine job, Don and Sonny instead face a horrifying turn when Robert’s creation escapes, devouring residents. What begins as a simple gig spirals into a nightmarish ordeal, forcing Don and Sonny to survive a building teeming with terror, where Sonny’s fears collide with a grotesque reality.
