Psychosis is a 2023 psychological horror movie about a criminal fixer with auditory hallucinations facing his past as a new job unravels into a nightmare of drugs, vigilantes, and a monstrous hypnotist.
Synopsis: Criminal fixer Cliff Van Aarle’s psychological condition, once a dark secret, now grants him a razor-sharp edge in the cutthroat underworld. However, when two amateur drug dealers come to him, claiming they were attacked by “zombies,” Van Aarle is thrust into a nightmarish mystery that drags him back to the horrors he thought he’d buried deep. As the case spirals into madness, the arrival of a delusional vigilante known as LoneWolf only adds to the chaos. The real threat, however, is far more sinister – a mastermind who may be more monster than man. Behind the scenes, a twisted conspiracy of mind control, hallucinogenic drugs, and the shadowy figure of Joubini, a drug lord whose deadly hypnosis has the criminal world in a chokehold. Van Aarle might be the only one capable of stopping him, but to do so, he’ll have to survive a journey into his own darkest fears.
