Apex Predators is a 2021 shark horror movie where a resort’s grand opening is threatened by shark attacks, and the mayor’s cover-up triggers a violent chain of events, endangering the entire town.
Synopsis: The pristine beaches near Los Angeles have turned into a macabre crime scene, with several gruesome mutilations leaving the authorities baffled. The victims’ bodies, soaked and marked with wounds that defy any known weapon, suggest something far more sinister than a human killer. As the body count rises and the grand opening of a lavish beachside resort looms, panic sets in. Marine biologists Dr. Rebecca Mattei and her expert colleague Dr. Elaine Ripley are called in to help, but they soon realize that the rogue predator terrorizing the coast is no ordinary shark. With time running out, they must race against the clock to uncover the truth and stop the relentless creature before it claims even more lives. Will they succeed, or will the beach become its deadly hunting ground?
