Are You There? is a 2024 supernatural horror movie about a summoning candle that traps a paranormal psychology student in a deadly game of twenty questions, each answer bringing her closer to death.
Synopsis: Paranormal psychology student Rosa Gonzalez ignites a ritual candle, its flickering flame a beacon for the dead. When she whispers, “Are you there?” she unwittingly invites a malevolent presence into her world. The entity lures her into a chilling game of twenty questions, each query dredging up buried childhood trauma and unraveling her sanity. Reality fractures as she struggles to discern whether the ghost is real or a manifestation of her fractured mind. With every second, the candle burns lower, its wax pooling like the remnants of her crumbling resolve. As the flame gutters and shadows grow, Rosa realizes the final question isn’t about escape – it’s about survival. The game won’t end until it consumes her entirely.
