Blackout is a 2023 werewolf horror movie about a fine arts painter who becomes convinced he’s the creature terrorizing a small American town, unleashing chaos under the full moon.
Synopsis: Small-town artist Charley is a tormented soul, haunted by a dark secret he can’t escape. His life spirals out of control as his drinking binges intensify and his suspicion grows that he might be a werewolf. Isolated and burdened by the fear of harming those closest to him, Charley pushes away everyone he loves, retreating into a world of solitude and madness. As his fragmented memories of brutal, blood-soaked nights surface, they find expression through his artwork – gruesome, haunting depictions of violence that seem all too real. Each brushstroke brings him closer to a horrifying truth he can’t fully comprehend but is too afraid to confront. Caught between his crumbling humanity and the primal terror lurking within, Charley must unravel whether he’s a monster, or if his mind is succumbing to something far darker than he could ever imagine.
