Bloody Axe Wound is a 2024 slasher horror movie about the daughter of a notorious ex-serial killer who attempts to follow in his bloody footsteps, only to face his doubt that she can live up to his legacy.
Synopsis: Abbie Bladecut, a teenager caught in the clash between her family’s brutal legacy and the innocence of her first crush, finds herself at a crossroads. In the shadowy town of Clover Falls, her father, Roger Bladecut, has forged a notorious empire by capturing gruesome murders on film, selling them to a dark clientele eager for shock and spectacle. However, as Abbie becomes more entangled in the twisted business, a seed of doubt begins to sprout. Is she doomed to follow in her father’s bloodstained footsteps, or is it time to break away, to reshape the family’s horrifying legacy? Caught between the macabre rituals of her upbringing and the fragile stirrings of her own humanity, Abbie must confront the terrifying question: Can she escape the legacy of death, or will it claim her too?
