Bone Lake is a 2024 psychological horror movie where two young couples, mistakenly double-booked at the same vacation rental, see their romantic weekend unravel into a sinister labyrinth of sex, deceit, and a desperate fight for survival.
Synopsis: Diego and Sage’s once-passionate relationship has hit a standstill, even though Diego recently left his job to pursue writing an acclaimed erotic romance novel. As the sole provider, Sage grows increasingly frustrated – both in the bedroom and in her role as the unwavering supporter. Desperate to rekindle their spark, they escape to a scenic lakeside property on the evocatively named Bone Lake. However, their intimate getaway takes an unexpected turn when another couple, Will and Cin, shows up, the result of a double-booking error. Hesitantly, the couples agree to share the space. What begins as an awkward attempt at friendship quickly devolves into a web of deceit, sexual tension, and betrayal. As passions rise, the weekend spirals into a brutal descent of orgiastic violence, revealing darker truths about their desires. What was meant to reignite love soon becomes a nightmare neither couple saw coming.
