Synopsis: Janet, a housewife in an opulent upper-class suburb, awakens to discover her husband Evan mysteriously absent despite his supposed work trip – his luggage still untouched at home. The day takes a bizarre turn when Leo, a handyman armed with documents bearing Evan’s signature, arrives unannounced. He insists on renovating Janet’s bathroom, complete with a Clawfoot bathtub she vehemently dislikes. Bewildered by the unexpected intrusion, Janet reluctantly allows Leo and his assistant Samuel inside. As Leo and Samuel commence work, Janet’s unease grows. Leo’s incessant chatter and invasive behavior – caught snooping around her property – only intensify her mistrust. Her frustration boils over, culminating in dark fantasies of harming Leo. When her best friend Tasha arrives, they unite in a gripping battle of wits against their manipulative adversary. What follows is a riveting contest where loyalties shift, secrets unravel, and the true depths of deception come to light, leading to a conclusion as unpredictable as it is satisfying.
