Descendent is a 2025 alien horror movie about a troubled school guard and father-to-be who becomes obsessed with protecting his family from an unseen extraterrestrial threat.
Synopsis: Sean Bruner, a school security guard burdened by childhood trauma, is anxiously preparing for the birth of his first child with his wife, Andrea. One night, during a late shift, a mysterious beam of light pierces the sky – then everything goes black. He wakes up in a hospital, his mind overwhelmed by disturbing visions and an inexplicable talent for drawing eerie extraterrestrials and desolate desert landscapes. As his sketches take on a life of their own, the line between dreams and reality blurs, dragging him deeper into paranoia. With each passing day, Sean’s grip on sanity weakens, and a dark truth emerges – one that ties his past, his unborn child, and an inescapable cosmic force together. As time runs out, he must confront the horrors buried in his bloodline before they consume everything he loves.
