Detained is a 2024 psychological thriller movie about a woman who wakes up in a police interrogation room with no memory of the night before and uncovers a sinister conspiracy within the decaying station’s walls.
Synopsis: Rebecca awakens in the dead of night, disoriented and alone, inside a crumbling police station with no memory of how she got there. Two hostile detectives accuse her of a hit-and-run, prying into her fragmented memories. However, the interrogation takes a dark turn when a violent altercation leaves another inmate and an officer dead, and Rebecca covered in blood. Cornered and desperate, she bribes the remaining officer to conceal the crime, unaware she’s stepping into a deeper conspiracy. As the night unravels, Rebecca discovers the station is a sinister trap – a façade engineered to rob and eliminate her and her loved ones. However, Rebecca isn’t the easy mark they expect. Harboring deadly secrets and an unyielding will to survive, she turns the tables on her captors in a high-stakes game of deception and revenge.
