Devils Stay is a 2024 supernatural horror movie about a heart specialist who, convinced his daughter’s heart still beats after an exorcism, clashes with a priest during her funeral to uncover the truth.
Synopsis: After his daughter’s sudden death following a failed exorcism, a distinguished heart surgeon cannot accept she is gone, ignoring the verdict of doctors and the priest who led the ritual. However, as mourners gather for her funeral, eerie, unsettling changes begin to mar her body. Her skin pales unnaturally, her lips twitch, and faint shadows seem to stir behind her closed eyes. The priest, once so certain of her fate, begins to doubt whether the demon was truly banished – or if something far older, an ancient evil beyond the reach of the Church, now watches from the shadows. Panic ripples through the mourners as they question whether they’ve gathered to grieve or to face something that cannot die. In silence, all await the final proof of what, if anything, remains in the casket.
