Director’s Cut is a 2024 slasher horror movie about a metal band drawn to a free music video shoot, only to fall into the clutches of a sadistic madman intent on turning their dreams into a nightmare.
Synopsis: A Long Island metal band eager for fame discovers a mysterious director on social media who offers to film their first music video for free. Desperate for recognition, they seize the opportunity and drive into the Pennsylvania woods, excited to create a killer video. After a night of heavy drinking with the charmingly gregarious director, they wake up to a chilling transformation. The man who once seemed supportive now reveals a sadistic need for control. As egos clash and tensions rise, a brief altercation pushes the band to consider abandoning the project. However, determined to prove themselves, they return to the set – only to find themselves ensnared by a psychopathic director and his twisted accomplice. One by one, the band members are lured into the performance space, where they become unwilling participants in a horrifying snuff music video, forced to endure torture for the director’s twisted vision.
