Synopsis: Four female friends with hard-knock backstories reconnect at a resort in south Louisiana for a peaceful weekend on the bayou. As the friends need more help than they can find at the bottom of margaritas, one of them decides to summon the legendary swamp mermaid goddess Erzulie, who is rumored to rule the local waters and bestow favor on women in need. But the peaceful weekend quickly goes awry when they find themselves face to face with Erzulie.
