Synopsis
After moving across the country so her seriously ill father can receive medical treatment, a young girl struggles with his decline and her mother’s consuming role as his caregiver. Feeling increasingly alone, she turns to a blue birdhouse she believes can attract a benevolent spirit capable of protecting her family. Her desperate call for help appears to summon something far more sinister instead. As increasingly disturbing events tear through the household, the girl becomes convinced that a dark presence has attached itself to her family, intensifying the fear, distrust, and instability already consuming their home.
