Frogman is a 2023 found footage horror movie about three friends filming a documentary who uncover the horrifying truth that the legendary Loveland Frogman is far more real – and deadly – than they imagined.
Synopsis: Loveland, Ohio, a quiet town shrouded in mystery, is home to the legendary Frogman. In the summer of 1999, 12-year-old Dallas Kyle captured blurry footage of the creature, only to be dismissed as a hoaxer. Two decades later, Dallas, now a struggling filmmaker, returns to Loveland with friends Amy and Scotty, intent on proving the Frogman is real. Armed with cameras and resolve, they dive into a seemingly innocent documentary project. However, what begins as a quest for cryptid truth spirals into a Lovecraftian nightmare as the trio unravels the town’s sinister secrets. Beneath Loveland’s serene exterior lies a chilling web of ancient horrors, and Dallas must confront not just the elusive Frogman, but something far darker and more monstrous than he ever imagined. The camera keeps rolling, but survival becomes their only goal.
