Gretel & Hansel is a 2020 supernatural horror movie about two siblings trapped in a witch’s deceptively charming home, racing to escape before they fall victim to her dark, twisted intentions.
Synopsis: When their mother spirals into madness, siblings Gretel and Hansel are thrust into the merciless wilderness to survive alone. Starving and desperate, they chance upon a feast laid out before an isolated, weather-beaten cottage. Drawn by the promise of salvation, they accept the invitation of its peculiar owner – a warm but unnervingly watchful woman who seems almost too eager to help. The cozy interior and her bountiful meals provide fleeting comfort, but an unsettling darkness lingers beneath her benevolence. As her behavior grows stranger and her intentions murkier, the siblings begin to suspect they’ve walked into a trap – a chilling scheme that may cost them far more than their freedom. In the heart of the woods, Gretel and Hansel must outwit a cunning adversary before they become the prey in her deadly game.
