Hell Of A Summer is a 2023 slasher horror movie about camp counselors at Camp Pineway, whose final night before the kids arrive turns into a brutal fight against a relentless masked killer.
Synopsis: Twenty-four-year-old Jason Hochberg returns to Camp Pineway for counselor weekend, hoping to reconnect with the place he’s cherished since childhood. However, surrounded by a sea of younger, sharp-tongued co-workers, he feels more like an outsider than a mentor. What Jason doesn’t know is that the camp’s warm nostalgia is about to twist into a nightmare. The lifeless bodies of owners John and Kathy lie hidden in the woods, victims of a brutal attack. Somewhere in the shadows, a masked killer lurks, their blade poised to strike again. As the counselors gather for what should be a weekend of bonding, Jason will find himself caught in a deadly game of survival, where every shadow hides a threat, and the safe haven of Camp Pineway becomes a blood-soaked hunting ground.
