Heretic is a 2024 psychological horror movie about two young missionaries whose faith is tested after knocking on the wrong door, trapping them in a deadly game of survival against the sinister and ruthless Mr. Reed.
Synopsis: Two devoted Mormon missionaries embark on what they believe is a routine mission: to share their faith with a stranger. However, their ordinary encounter swiftly unravels into a harrowing, life-threatening ordeal. What begins as a simple act of spiritual service turns into a horrifying test of survival, where their faith, courage, and moral convictions are pushed to the absolute brink. As the situation escalates into unimaginable terror, they must confront not only the physical dangers but also their deepest fears, forcing them to question everything they once held as sacred. With each passing moment, the stakes grow higher, leaving them trapped in a battle for their lives, their beliefs shattered by the overwhelming forces they now face. This is more than a trial of faith – it’s a descent into darkness, where salvation is no longer guaranteed, and survival becomes their ultimate mission.

Critics’ Reviews:
This was a really great suspense movie with twists and unexpected turns. Great to see Hugh Grant play such a meaty character, excellent performance. Loved this!
Totally agree! Hugh Grant absolutely nailed it with his performance – such a departure from his usual roles, and he brought so much depth to the character. The twists were so well-executed too, kept me guessing the whole time. Glad you enjoyed it!
