Synopsis: Emily Wyland, an ambitious filmmaker, joins forces with cinematographer Danny to craft a profoundly intimate documentary. Their journey unfolds as Emily seeks to reunite with her estranged mother after a decade apart. However, the fragile hope of reconciliation shatters when Emily’s mother mysteriously disappears, potentially falling prey to the addictions that once tore their family apart. Now, Emily and Danny are thrust into a race against time, unraveling increasingly ominous clues that hint at a darker truth. As they delve deeper into the shadows of her mother’s past, they must confront their own fears and the haunting specters that threaten to engulf them all.
