Non-living is a 2020 psychological horror movie about a grieving couple returning to the house where they lost their son, only to uncover a chilling message from him that shatters their reality and unravels their minds.
Synopsis: After the devastating loss of their son Jonah, Alex and Natalia Dunn return to their family home in rural Spain, planning to pack up and part ways. Once a thriving couple who achieved global fame as authors of children’s books and advocates for the de-growth movement, their world shattered when Jonah died just before his tenth birthday. Natalia is determined to move on alone, while Alex clings to the hope of reconciliation. Their plans change when they discover a note seemingly left by Jonah, leading them into a dark and twisted game filled with eerie clues. Desperate to believe in the impossible, the grieving couple sets aside their differences and embarks on a harrowing journey. What begins as a faint glimmer of hope spirals into a nightmarish descent, forcing them to confront their deepest fears and the lengths they are willing to go to bring Jonah back.
