Nyctophobia is a 2024 found footage horror movie about twin sisters and a friend battling terrifying creatures in a supernatural blackout, where darkness isn’t empty – it’s alive and hungry.
Synopsis: Rose and Azalea, inseparable twins, and their best friend Brooks plan to revel in the freedom of high school graduation. However, their celebration takes a sinister turn when a sudden blackout plunges them into suffocating darkness. Shadows shift unnaturally, and a chilling realization dawns – they are not alone. Malevolent entities prowl the void, their presence felt in every creak and whisper. Trapped and hunted, the trio clings to their only defense: the fragile glow of their phone screens. Each flicker of light becomes a lifeline, a fragile barrier against the creeping unknown. However, as batteries drain and shadows grow bolder, their survival hinges on courage, cunning, and an unrelenting will to face the horrors lurking just beyond the light. Will they endure the night, or will the darkness claim them?
