Psychopomp is a 2024 supernatural horror movie about a hopeful couple who foster a young orphan, only to awaken a malevolent force. Their dream of family turns to terror as dark forces threaten their lives.
Synopsis: Robin and Daniel, a childless couple desperate to build a family, welcome Kathelia, a traumatized orphan, into their home. At first, they hope this act of love will heal their wounds, but Kathelia’s erratic behavior soon turns unsettling. As tension mounts, Robin discovers she’s inexplicably pregnant, and the once-welcoming home becomes a battleground. The couple’s dreams of parenthood shatter as they realize the horrific truth – Kathelia is not just a troubled child, but the vessel for a malevolent entity determined to destroy them. With each passing day, the family is besieged by dark forces, and the love that once bound them together now drives them apart in a terrifying fight for survival.
