Red Rooms is a 2023 psychological horror movie about Kelly-Anne, whose obsession with a serial killer’s case drives her into a disturbing spiral as she hunts for a missing murder video, eerily linked to her own likeness.
Synopsis: Every morning, Kelly-Anne wakes up by the courthouse, determined to secure a seat at the high-profile trial of Ludovic Chevalier, the serial killer she’s obsessively drawn to. Day after day, she forms a tenuous bond with another groupie, offering her a brief respite from her isolation. However, as the trial drags on, Kelly-Anne finds herself spending more time with the victims’ families, and the weight of their grief begins to unravel her psyche. Her morbid fascination with Chevalier intensifies, pushing her to the edge. Desperate to complete the puzzle, Kelly-Anne becomes fixated on obtaining the missing video of a murdered thirteen-year-old girl – a girl who eerily resembles her. Driven by this obsession, she is prepared to do whatever it takes to get her hands on that final, haunting piece.
