Rumpelstiltskin is a 2025 folk horror movie about a miller’s lie forcing his daughter into a deadly pact with an imp, whose deal with the devil brings terrifying consequences.
Synopsis: Once upon a time, a deceitful miller boasts that his daughter, Evalina, can spin straw into gold, securing her a marriage to the King. However, when his lies unravel, they face imprisonment in a tower. Desperate, they make an impossible promise – Evalina will prove her magic. Just as hope fades, a masked trickster emerges from the shadows, offering help for a sinister price. The deal is struck, and the King, blinded by greed, demands more gold. With no way out, Evalina makes a terrifying bargain – her firstborn child in exchange for their freedom. However, as the sinister pact unfolds, a darker force awakens. The Devil himself takes an interest, twisting the game into a nightmare of torment and terror. With hell’s forces at play, Evalina must fight for more than just her child – she must fight for her soul.
