Shackled is a 2023 survival horror movie about a young woman chained to a truck in the unforgiving desert, racing against dehydration and unraveling sanity to outwit her captor’s deadly, mind-bending game.
Synopsis: A young woman snaps awake, the blinding glare of the California desert sun burning her eyes. Her wrists ache, shackled to the bed of a rusted, abandoned pickup truck. Panic surges – her mind is a void, wiped clean of how she ended up here. Scattered around her are three cryptic clues: a half-empty bottle of gin, a CB radio crackling faintly, and a revolver with two bullets. The oppressive heat scorches her skin, leaching her strength as questions pound in her skull. Who did this? Why? Answers lurk beyond her grasp, buried in the haze of her disorientation. Desperation gnaws at her fraying edges. Each passing second is a countdown, the desert’s silence growing heavier. If she doesn’t act now, she’ll lose more than her memory – she’ll lose her chance to survive.
