The Hangman is a 2024 supernatural horror movie about a father who, during a hellish camping trip, must battle a murderous cult and a bloodthirsty demon called The Hangman to save his kidnapped son.
Synopsis: To salvage their fractured relationship, Leon, a weary, middle-aged door-to-door salesman, embarks on a camping trip deep into the unforgiving wilderness of rural Appalachia with his estranged teenage son. Unbeknownst to them, the shadowy mountains harbor a malevolent secret. A deranged local cult has conjured an ancient demon born of agony and malice, known only as The Hangman. As the sun rises, Leon is jolted awake to a harrowing reality: his son has vanished. With bodies piling up and time running out, Leon must plunge into the heart of darkness, confronting both the ruthless cult and the terrifying, bloodthirsty entity to rescue his son from a fate worse than death.
