The Invisible Man is a 2020 psychological horror movie about a scientist who fakes his death to become invisible and stalk his ex-girlfriend, forcing her to fight back when no one believes her.
Synopsis: Trapped in a suffocating, abusive relationship with a brilliant but sadistic scientist, Cecilia Kass flees in the dead of night, vanishing with the help of her sister, their childhood friend, and his teenage daughter. But when her ruthless ex-husband allegedly takes his own life, leaving her a substantial portion of his fortune, Cecilia begins to suspect it’s all part of a chilling ruse. As a series of unnerving coincidences escalate into deadly encounters, her world plunges into chaos. With her loved ones’ lives hanging by a thread, Cecilia’s grip on reality begins to slip as she fights to prove that someone – or something – is hunting her from the shadows, a predator no one else can see. Desperation claws at her sanity, and time is running out to expose the terrifying truth before it consumes them all.
