The Monster Beneath Us is a 2024 monster horror movie about a grieving woman and her son who return to her late ex-husband’s desolate home, only to face the sinister presence of a vengeful, ancient evil.
Synopsis: Yorkshire, 1898. In the fog-veiled countryside, a grieving woman and her young son return to the desolate home of her recently deceased ex-husband. The house, cloaked in silence and sorrow, carries the weight of unresolved memories. However, as night falls, they realize they are not alone. Lurking in the shadowed corners is a Boggart – an insidious spirit from English folklore, feeding on fear and despair. Its presence grows stronger, twisting their grief into torment. As the mother and son grapple with eerie manifestations, the Boggart’s dark power forces them into harrowing choices: to confront the entity, attempt to appease it, or endure its unyielding menace. Each decision pulls them deeper into its grasp, leading to a chilling final confrontation. The line between the living and the supernatural dissolves, testing their courage against ancient, malevolent evil.
