Synopsis
In a dwindling noble household, a plain but hopeful young woman is forced into a savage contest of beauty against her stepsister when a prince’s ball promises financial relief. Her stepmother enlists radical surgeries and insidious diet methods to remake her daughter’s body into a prize-winning form. As the stepsister flaunts effortless charm, the desperate sister endures vomiting tapeworms, stitched-in lashes, and mutilation to meet the slipper trial. Her dreams collapse when her rival steals the spotlight and leaves her broken in shame and physical pain. In a final violent act of reclamation she tries to force the shoe-fit, tipping into full horror as anatomy and vanity collide.
