Synopsis: When the Marquis d’Urfé, a distinguished emissary of the King of France, is savagely attacked and left for dead in the desolate countryside, he stumbles upon a foreboding, isolated manor. Desperate for refuge, he is taken in by the reclusive family that inhabits the shadowy estate. Their cold, distant demeanor grows more unsettling as they speak in hushed tones of their father’s impending return. However, what begins as an uncomfortable encounter soon spirals into a waking nightmare. The manor, with its creaking floors and dark corners, seems to pulse with malevolent energy, and the family’s strange, furtive actions hint at something far more sinister lurking beneath the surface. As night falls, the Marquis realizes that he is not merely a guest – he is a pawn in a terrifying, inevitable fate.
