The Wild is a 2023 psychological horror movie about a tight-knit group reuniting for an annual camping trip after their friend’s death, only to face eerie disturbances and unraveling tensions in the isolated forest.
Synopsis: Grieving the loss of their friend Bea, Emilia, Finn, and Lucey gather for their annual camping trip, hoping to mend the fractures in their friendship. However, deep in the isolated forest, unease seeps into every moment. Shadows stretch too long, whispers echo through the trees, and old wounds resurface like fresh cuts. As the tension between them tightens, reality itself begins to warp – familiar paths twist into endless loops, and something unseen lingers just beyond the firelight. Each of them senses it, a presence feeding on their fears, pushing them toward a terrifying realization: they’re not alone out here. What started as a chance to heal becomes a descent into paranoia, betrayal, and something far more sinister. If they can’t trust each other, they may never leave the woods at all.
