We Are Zombies is a 2023 zombie horror movie where three slackers, seeking quick cash, battle small-time crooks and a ruthless mega-corporation in a city overrun by non-cannibal zombies to rescue their kidnapped grandmother.
Synopsis: In a society where zombies, referred to as the living-impaired, coexist with the living without any cannibalistic tendencies, the formidable Coleman Corporation dominates a city. This corporation offers a retirement plan for the living-impaired, claiming to conduct research by collecting decomposing family members from their homes. Amidst these collections, a trio of friends infiltrates Coleman’s network to retrieve the zombies and sell them independently. Their scheme runs smoothly until their grandmother is kidnapped. To pay the ransom, they must undertake perilous assignments, a daunting task in a society where everything has already gone awry.
