Synopsis: On the eve of his release, a long-term inmate at a Scandinavian mental clinic confesses to a series of brutal murders, setting off a chilling quest for truth. His therapist, a police officer, and the inmate himself embark on a journey to reconstruct the crime’s details and unravel the murky reality that surfaces. Each character is driven by a desperate search for hidden truths: Mads, the tormented criminal, seeks to understand his dark past; Anna, his trusted therapist, yearns to validate her psychoanalytic theories; and Soren, the relentless investigator, hopes to solve numerous cold cases. As they struggle to distinguish fact from fiction, the trio is ensnared in a deadly game of psychological dependency, inching closer to a destructive and inevitable climax.
