The Damned is a 2024 psychological horror movie about Eve and her crew, who encounter a foreign ship sinking off the coast, forcing them into a deadly moral struggle between saving others or securing their own survival.
Synopsis: In the dead of a brutal 19th-century winter, Eva, a recently widowed leader of a remote fishing post, faces an agonizing decision. When a shipwreck leaves survivors stranded near her isolated village, Eva and her crew are torn: risk their scarce winter provisions to save the desperate, or let them perish to ensure their own survival. As guilt and dread settle over the villagers like the biting cold, strange events begin to unfold. Shadows seem to lengthen, whispers echo through the night, and the village feels haunted by an unseen force. With each passing day, Eva and her people become convinced they are cursed, punished for choosing their own lives over those of the shipwrecked. Bound by their choice and stalked by something sinister, they must confront the true cost of survival.
